According to the Daily Mail we rotate a repertoire of just nine evening meals. NINE!? Come on folks, we can do better than that.

The ho-hum of everyday life turns our food-planning brain into mush. So that we end up standing in the supermarket, motionless with terror, desperately trying to work out what to have for dinner.

I was meat-free for three-years and in this very predicament. I ended up with a packet of sausages in my trolley. I could not think of a single thing that I wanted to eat that I also felt able to cook after a long and busy day.

You relate huh?

Kick those mid-week meal ruts out of town and check out this selection of tasty numbers. They can all be cooked from start-to-finish in 30mins or under. And mostly with ingredients in your fridge or cupboard (thus avoiding the supermarket scenario altogether).
